Sandra Siddall was introduced to dance at the tender age of 5 in her
hometown of Windsor, Ont. As a youngster, she spent many years studying
tap, jazz and ballet. At the age of 16 she was introduced to modern / lyrical
dance and her passion for movement escalated. As a teenager, she instructed
dance lessons at several local community centres. Sandra spent the summer of
1992 studying with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre in New York City
through their summer intensive program. In 1995 she graduated from York
University with a BFA as a dance major (specialized honours degree in dance
and performing art). Sandra returned to Windsor where she has since shared
her love of this performing art through instructing and mentoring young
dancers. Currently a Senior Kindergarten Teacher with the Greater Essex
County District School Board, Sandra continues to be enthusiastic as she
shares her passion for dance with others. She is particulaly excited to be
instructing alongside her sister and owner of Cathy's Dance Studio Inc. "May
your hearts always dance and may those who dance on your grave get cramps
in their legs!"
