Judy began dancing in her nativecountry of Jamaica at the age of
six. She was given a solid foundation in classical dance at the Fay
Simpson School of Dance. Her love for the art form blossomed
when exposed to Modern dance under the tutelage of Neville
Black, the University Dance Society and the Fenoir Dancers.

At the age of 23, she took on the challenge of dancing
professionally with L'ACADCO, a Caribbean Modern dance
company, performing in Jamaica, Mexico and Holland.

She migrated to Canada in 1994, finding comfort and familiarity as
a company member with HNM Dance Company. Though her
artistic passion had found an outlet, she soon found Cathy and
things expanded. At this time, Judy experimented with Tap and
Jazz, excelling in both of these dance genres. Judy is so happy to
bring her passion to the studio and share her knowledge and
experience with others.
