I volunteer every year at local elementary and high schools teaching different styles of dance like Hip Hop, Jazz,
Salsa, and the Charleston. The past couple of years I have had the privilege to dance and do choreography for
a local singer named Kerri Brown (KB). This has allowed me to perform with groups like 112 and we have a lot
of great things planned for the future!

While dance has been such a great part of my life I have also completed an honours degree in English
Literature at the University of Windsor, and hope to eventually continue my education and become an
elementary school teacher. Currently I work full time for TD Canada Trust.
Hello, my name is Jennifer Horvath and I began a life long love of dance
when I enrolled in dance lessons at the age of 8.  I started teaching dance,
gymnastics, and skipping at the age of 13 for the local YMCA. I began
demonstrating dance classes at the age of 11 and continued for several more
years. I started teaching at the age of 17. I taught Hip Hop, Jazz, Tap, Ballet,
and Point. Now its been a great joy to teach at Cathy's Dance studio since it
opened its doors and  I hope to continue teaching there for many more years! I
believe in making dance fun and creating a special bond with each student.

My love for dance has also opened many doors for me. I was a dancer in a
production of the Wizard of Oz, I danced my way to winning the talent,
congeniality, and title of Miss Tecumseh 2000, participated in the dance
program at St. Thomas of Villanova, where I also did a lot of choreography, and
back up danced for The Beach Boys, just to name a few great opportunities.  I
have also had the joy of bringing dance to the classroom.
